Far far too narrow to do up with thick hockey socks. Could get my foot in but there was no way I could have worn them for a long period or run in them.
We are sorry to see that you found the sizing a bit tight. Increasingly players are using shin liners beneath their socks so this may be a means of mitigating it in the future.
When choosing shoes it is worth checking if you have room for your feet to expand. It is common for our feet to expand while running and with some pitches having no crash pad the impact in hockey can be quite high. This means that the shoe can seem tight. We normally advise allowing a finger or thumb's width at the end as a guideline.
That said, on the assumption the shoes are still in a sellable condition, please bring them in store or contact us via email@example.com and we can look at an exchange for you.
