The flat fast-rolling center tread reduces rolling resistance to a minimum while the pronounced side lugs provide reliable cornering grip and control in technical passages. At the heart of the scorpion™ xc rh is the race xc compound a high-performance rubber developed based on the proven experience of pirelli motorsport engineers for the most demanding cycling disciplines. Designed specifically for xc racing this compound guarantees ultra-fast handling explosive acceleration and maximum pedaling efficiency. Already the first choice for pirelli's xc and marathon world cup teams this tire is the perfect option for anyone looking for every ounce of rolling efficiency: the rh model combines record-breaking rolling efficiency with the control needed to master any modern xc discipline. Lite it’s a lightweight and supple casing which maximises speed handling and riding feeling. The lite construction is made up of 120tpi nylon casing without extra sidewall protection. It is specificall designed for cross-country application and for the lightest bikers. Prowall the prowall™ features a nylon sidewall protection that enhances the puncture resistance and the handling at low infl tion pressure. It is a solid option for xc racing trail riding when paired with different carcass constructions namely of 120 and 60tpi.
