The Euro-Star Camie Kids is a warm, padded riding jacket for young riders who want to stay comfortable outdoors and around the yard on cold days. Built as an insulating outer layer, it combines warmth with practical details that earn their keep in the saddle, during grooming and in all the other jobs around the stables.
About this winter jacket
The Camie has an insulating polyester filling that holds on to body heat. The fabric is also wind-resistant, so the jacket shields you from cold wind. That makes it a natural choice for chilly autumn and winter days.
Young riders need room to move. The two-way zip opens from the top and from the bottom. In the saddle you can open it a little at the hem, which gives the jacket more room once your child is sitting. A soft chin guard keeps the top of the zip from touching the chin.
The hood and adjustable drawcords add cover when you are working outside. At the front there are zipped pockets, so small items stay safely stowed through a long day at the yard.
The finish has had the same attention. The Camie has soft inner cuffs and a raised Euro-Star logo. Together with the warm filling, those details make it an everyday winter jacket for children who spend much of their time with the horses.
The Camie makes most sense when you are looking for a warm riding jacket your child can wear both in the saddle and around the yard. In milder weather, or during hard training when a child warms up quickly, a lighter riding jacket or a bodywarmer is the more practical option.
