This Dy'on bridle from the Working Collection has a wide, V-shaped crank noseband with pull-back closure and a removable 13 mm flash strap. A matt finish, made for daily work. For riders looking for a sturdy, functional bridle that can be ridden with or without a flash strap. Available in black, in Pony and Full. Reins are not included.
About this bridle
Dy'on's Working Collection is the working line: less decoration, more function. You see that in the matt finish, which is less sensitive to scratches than a glossy surface and which still looks tidy after a winter of riding out.
The heart of this bridle is the noseband. It is wide and cut in a V shape, which means the strap narrows towards the bottom and so leaves more room around the cheekbones. A wide strap also spreads the pressure over a larger area than a narrow one. The noseband is softly padded on the inside.
This is a crank noseband with a pull-back closure. You tighten the strap at the back evenly along both sides, so the tension is spread instead of pulling on one point and the strap stays stable in place. The pull-back closure makes that tightening smooth: you bring the strap easily to the setting you want and it stays there. That tightening is there to keep the strap stable, not to close it more firmly.
Underneath sits a removable 13 mm flash strap. The flash strap runs under the bit and keeps the bit quieter in the mouth. Because it is removable, you choose per situation: with the flash strap when you want that stability, without it when your horse responds better to a single noseband. That makes this bridle broadly usable, from training through to competition.
The Working Collection is built for intensive daily use. That means sturdy straps, solid workmanship and material that does not show signs of wear straight away. It is not a show bridle, but a bridle that will keep you going for years.
Reins are not included; you choose those separately, to your own preference.
